Special Information for Cancer Patients and their families
In addition to the medical treatment, counselling and care for the psychological and social consequences of cancer are offered during your hospital stay. Hospitals which are certified by OnkoZert must offer psycho-oncological consultation. Psycho-oncologists offer support to those coping with the disease and advise them on how to cope with emotional and social stress. Usually you can see the therapist for some sessions but not for a continuous therapy.
